Matai Dining Table

This beautiful 10-12 seater Table has been hand crafted using a 900 year old Matai slab salvaged as a log from the pureora forest. The slab has been carefully preserved in its natural shape and form. All the character cracks,voids,holes etc have been filled with a tinted black epoxy resin, the slab has been base coated in a liquid glass epoxy resin and top coated with a marine grade polyuathane then polished to a flawless gloss finish. The table base is also hand crafted using a combination of steel and Matai timber, the steel has been finished in a satin black.
